“ Well - what an absolute gem in a location we have never been to before. The food was authentic and exceptional, the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful. Just a gastronomic delight. ”
“ What a fabulous taste of Spain! Lucy the chef prepares and cooks all of the food with such love and attention to detail. The food was delicious varied and plentiful. My favourite was the grilled squid altho, the delicious mussels and other tapas dishes.. anchovies, prawns, potatoes with olive oil & mozzarella were also amazing. The ambience and welcome we received was wonderful . IF you decide to have the Paella you MUST order 24 hrs in advance as the dish takes time to prepare and cook! Enjoy! ”
“ Went for a family meal here for a Birthday and had a wonderful experience. It was our first time here so we ended up ordering too much as we didn't know the portion sizes were quite so large! But this made for a lovely treat the following day as we all took our leftovers home. Beautiful meal, well looked after by the family-run team and will certainly be returning in future. We can highly recommend the paella! ”
“ Relaxing atmosphere, good service, beautiful food, reasonable prices. I was looking forward to visiting this place as I'd heard so much about it and I wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious. Definitely recommend a visit. ”
“ 5 Stars! We ate here with our children during a short holiday in Silloth and absolutely loved it. The food was full of flavour and clearly made with care, even the sauces are homemade! Everything we ordered was perfectly seasoned and delicioso, and our kids enjoyed it just as much as we did. The restaurant has a stylish, welcoming feel, and it’s such a shame we live so far away, if we were local, we'd be regulars for sure. ”
“ Amazing food - a first visit to celebrate a 70th birthday and silver wedding anniversary. Such fabulously flavoursome food, all piping hot and beautifully presented. Service was friendly and everyone was warm and welcoming - especially the chef who we chatted to just before leaving! A lovely, intimate dining space. We will return! ”
“ Never had Spanish Tapas, but eyes were well and truly opened.. food was great, I was driving, but wifes Sangria jug was "muy bueno".. Meatballs were my favourite, but again, tuned in to Chorizo ... wow... great night, won't be strangers ”
“ The Bank was near where we were staying and prior to arriving had tried to book but been ever popular we found ourselves the night before just sat outside to enjoy a drink. We them as we sat outside met Lucie the chef/owner who said we should try come back. We returned and Simon showed us a table. We tried upon Lucies recommendation the fried almonds and a aperitif. Never had almonds like that and with the aperitif perfectly matched for us. We ordered a bottle of cava at a reasonable 20 with our main dishes the crispy pork belly, the squid, tomato and padron peppers plus the aubergine blue corn tortillas. Unfortunately they had run out of blue corn and flour tortillas were substituted. But the mix of the mint chimichurri, aioli, pesto, confit onions and charred aubergine was fantastic. 2 dishes each were plentiful leaving no room to try the tortilla. Lucie was friendly to the diners which mainly were local and testament to popularity. We wish her well and to the fairy very enjoyable last tonight dinner here. ”
